Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Aurelian Potra fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ajax's protests and gave Aurelian Potra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ajax's Aurelian Potra got a free kick in the 15th minute. Bako CSS's Nistor Mihuleac got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Doru Mitrea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ajax's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bako CSS the free kick. In the 20th minute, Doru Mitrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Bako CSS. Iurie Tache stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Taribo West. 0-1. Taribo West stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Mihuleac's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Bako CSS's Petru Pădure proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bako CSS from getting a goal against them. Taribo West took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Mihuleac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Aurelian Giurgiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taribo West made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Mihuleac in the 42nd minute of play. Aurelian Giurgiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Nicu Giosu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicu Giosu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Bako CSS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nicu Giosu made the kick off in the second half. Liviu Gane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taribo West having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nistor Mihuleac in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taribo West prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the game, Nistor Mihuleac lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Taribo West. Taribo West stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Mihuleac's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Taribo West, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 85 minutes into the match, Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Mihuleac came free, but Taribo West reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Mihuleac in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Taribo West, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aurelian Giurgiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Taribo West came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurelian Giurgiu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 93rd minute. Bako CSS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
