But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Giurgiu couldn't finish the play. After 37 played minutes Bako CSS got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Mihuleac. Narcis Bidulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Gane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bako CSS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Matei Hurmuzache hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrei Bogdănescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Aurelian Giurgiu fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Nistor Mihuleac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bako CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nistor Mihuleac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Horia Dinulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Caceamac's Narcis Bidulescu got control of the ball when Nistor Mihuleac tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Narcis Bidulescu managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Bako CSS's Nistor Mihuleac fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Narcis Bidulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Mihuleac, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Nistor Mihuleac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caceamac's Narcis Bidulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
