Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Babadagh's Cristian Voiculescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Cristian Voiculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Bojin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Corlățean hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to UFC Vulpeni getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Marcel Simion hit a great ball. UFC Vulpeni's Sabin Bojin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Corlățean in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Voiculescu in the 12th minute of play forced UFC Vulpeni's goalkeeper Sabin Bojin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Babadagh's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Simion came free, but Luca Popeneciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandu Marchiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Voiculescu in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabin Bojin saved UFC Vulpeni from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Adomniței during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Nae Adomniței hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Corlățean's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Sabin Bojin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 21 minutes into the match, UFC Vulpeni's goalkeeper Sabin Bojin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandu Marchiș. After a rather tough play, UFC Vulpeni's Nae Adomniței got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Sabin Bojin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Voiculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 37th minute of the match Nae Adomniței completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nae Adomniței a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Nae Adomniței hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match, Sandu Marchiș got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sabin Bojin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 42nd minute, UFC Vulpeni's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Voiculescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. UFC Vulpeni's Sabin Bojin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save UFC Vulpeni from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iulian Ciorăscu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iulian Ciorăscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sandu Marchiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babadagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandu Marchiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabin Bojin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Voiculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Bojin having to interfere. Sandu Marchiș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sabin Bojin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babadagh's Cristian Voiculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandu Marchiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Bojin having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Babadagh's goalkeeper Luca Popeneciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Ciorăscu. Sabin Bojin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandu Marchiș in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Babadagh booed when UFC Vulpeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Hortopan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Babadagh's Cristian Voiculescu in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 92ndth minute of the game Sandu Marchiș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UFC Vulpeni's Sabin Bojin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Iulian Ciorăscu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Vulpeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iulian Ciorăscu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Babadagh had played much better football throughout.
