Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Sanisor AFC's Marius Dulca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Emil Firoiu lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Cristinel Tatulici. Sanisor AFC's Iosif Cozorici suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gelu Chelaru charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gelu Chelaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valeriu Pisculescu in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Stamate saved Sanisor AFC from getting behind. Sandra's Cristinel Tatulici proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Sandra from getting a goal against them. Emil Firoiu took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristinel Tatulici. Cristinel Tatulici dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Emil Firoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Tatulici having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Acalinei in the 28th minute of play forced Sanisor AFC's goalkeeper Dan Stamate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Sanisor AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Pisculescu came free, but Dan Stamate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valeriu Pisculescu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Stamate saved Sanisor AFC from getting behind. When Virgil Pască fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sanisor AFC's protests and gave Virgil Pască a yellow card for diving instead. Petru Murgu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dan Stamate. Sanisor AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Firoiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristinel Tatulici. That made the score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. When Iosif Acalinei came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Sandra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Acalinei couldn't finish the play. Valeriu Pisculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Stamate having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valeriu Pisculescu was the one to do the kick off. Cristinel Tatulici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Firoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Acalinei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Sanisor AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Barbălată to maneuver through the defense. Valeriu Pisculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Stamate having to interfere. Vlad Coșereanu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Emil Firoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Stamate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Achim in the 79th minute of play. Valeriu Pisculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 90 minutes, Pompiliu Barbălată managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanisor AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Barbălată was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute of the match, Valeriu Pisculescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dan Stamate saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
