Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Sabin Macavei started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Gostavatu booed when Barcas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Vâlcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Barcas's Codrin Neculuță got control of the ball when Eusebiu Popârcea tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Vintilă Buciuman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcas's supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Buciuman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisc Stoica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sever Blăniță kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Barcas's Codrin Neculuță got control of the ball when Cosmin Iurașcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Barcas's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Macavei came free, but Codrin Neculuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabin Macavei spun around in front of the goal 25 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Barcas's goal. Sever Blăniță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Francisc Stoica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorin Ghiță during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Gostavatu's Alin Vornicescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Codrin Neculuță. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Barcas's Vintilă Buciuman got a free kick in the 35th minute. With an all-out effort, Gostavatu's Codrin Neculuță threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sabin Macavei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sever Blăniță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Francisc Stoica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrei Tomozei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Stoica having to interfere. Sever Blăniță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gostavatu's Sabin Macavei got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sever Blăniță to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Iurașcu in the 55th minute of play forced Barcas's goalkeeper Codrin Neculuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorin Ghiță got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Gostavatu getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Dorin Ghiță hit a great ball. When Andrei Tomozei came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Barcas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Tomozei couldn't finish the play. If Alin Vornicescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Stoica didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Codrin Neculuță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosmin Iurașcu's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Gostavatu's Cosmin Iurașcu in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barcas's goalie prevented a goal. Barcas's Codrin Neculuță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Iurașcu in the 77th minute of play. Codrin Neculuță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Iurașcu in the 79th minute of the match. Cosmin Iurașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Codrin Neculuță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Vintilă Buciuman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gostavatu the free kick. After 84 played minutes Barcas got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Buciuman. After 86 minutes of play Barcas's Vintilă Buciuman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Vintilă Buciuman kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Cosmin Iurașcu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Barcas's Codrin Neculuță. Codrin Neculuță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Sever Blăniță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gostavatu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barcas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
