Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aurel Milea took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vali Maftei kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Mihai Şuţu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Sergiu Şumălan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patas FC's Sergiu Şumălan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Patas FC from getting a goal against them. Claudiu Oroveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Crețu in the 25th minute of play. Nichifor Pădureanu charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nichifor Pădureanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Izimsea:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Patas FC:s goal. Nistor Tulbure shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Alex Bărcăuan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Bărcăuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silviu Crețu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudiu Oroveanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Patas FC's Silviu Crețu got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Silviu Crețu made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Patas FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Emanuel Gogea hit a great ball. The supporters of Patas FC booed when Izimsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Baicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Patas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Boștină to maneuver through the defense. Izimsea's Claudiu Oroveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Crețu in the 65th minute of play. Aurel Milea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudiu Oroveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Crețulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Silviu Crețu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Oroveanu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Izimsea's zone, Silviu Crețu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudiu Oroveanu came out of the goal and Silviu Crețu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Patas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Izimsea.
