Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) Iustinian Zoreanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Sapaia's Jonas Iigo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ploptisu CF's Eliodor Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iurie Petrică in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Cazimir Mihăilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Eliodor Macovei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Vlad Bîndean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapaia's supporters rose to their feet, but Vlad Bîndean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Macovei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Nedelea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Zoreanu in the 43rd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iurie Petrică to strike the kick off in the second half. Iurie Petrică struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Eliodor Macovei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sapaia. The crowd rose to their feet as Sapaia's Cazimir Mihăilă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliodor Macovei. That made the score 0-5 after 54 minutes of play. Sapaia's Victor Nedelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Zoreanu in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Sapaia's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Burtescu came free, but Victor Nedelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Sapaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Popeangă to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the game, Cazimir Mihăilă recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliodor Macovei. Cazimir Mihăilă showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 74th match minute, Ploptisu CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Stolojan to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Iurie Petrică sped through Ploptisu CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliodor Macovei. Eliodor Macovei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Petrică in the 80th minute of play. Iurie Petrică scored 0-8 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliodor Macovei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 played minutes Sapaia got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Răduț. In the 90th match minute, Sapaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Popeangă to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sapaia's Edgar Popeangă got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute of the match Emilian Pociu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Nedelea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Iustinian Zoreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
