Cătălin Buciu came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Feiurder's Iustinian Firoiu. But to his dismay, Iustinian Firoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remus Păunescu during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Remus Păunescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavian Frumușanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Cumpanașu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Remus Păunescu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Vasilache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sirbi CSM's Cătălin Buciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sirbi CSM from getting a goal against them. Iustinian Firoiu let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 45th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexandru Adam to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 73rd minute David Voican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Buciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lucrețiu Vasilache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feiurder's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucrețiu Vasilache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Buciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
