The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Rareș Nistor made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Ploieșteanu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. FC Daneasa's Adam Cerghizan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Cîrțu in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Aristide Petrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vezendiu AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristide Petrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Cerghizan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 played minutes FC Daneasa got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Costeiantu. 80 minutes into the match, Vezendiu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Nistor came free, but Dorel Zorlescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Daneasa's Niculae Hogaș got a free kick in the 89th minute. Adam Cerghizan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Cîrțu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Vasile Băsescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Adam Cerghizan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
