After having played for 16 minutes, Petrică Negrițoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carapcesti AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petrică Negrițoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bogdan Cucerzan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Gavril Tănasă skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Tudoran in the 19th minute of play forced Plostinu's goalkeeper Gavril Tănasă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Cucerzan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Gavril Tănasă made a huge save. If Bogdan Cucerzan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sorin Bărbătescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Amarandei having to interfere. When Gabriel Tudoran came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Carapcesti AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Tudoran couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Gabriel Tudoran notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Plostinu's Gavril Tănasă. Gavril Tănasă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 83 minutes of play, Carapcesti AC's Bogdan Cucerzan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavril Tănasă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gavril Tănasă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Tudoran in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Bogdan Cucerzan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carapcesti AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carapcesti AC had won after a very even match.
