Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Olimpiu Bălanescu got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Spulberu defense, Olimpiu Bălanescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basarab Şania. The Spulberu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basarab Şania should have stopped the shot. After 30 minutes of play, Dinamo GSV's David Lupea made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basarab Şania was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Ioneasa in the 33rd minute of play forced Spulberu's goalkeeper Basarab Şania to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Vali Elefteriu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spulberu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo GSV the free kick. Vali Elefteriu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When David Lupea came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Dinamo GSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Lupea couldn't finish the play. Basarab Şania showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olimpiu Bălanescu in the 39th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match, Leonard Găină got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolae Ifrim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vlad Gherasescu to make the kick off. From close distance Olimpiu Bălanescu pressed in the 1-4 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 58 minutes into the game. Spulberu's Basarab Şania proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Spulberu from getting a goal against them. If Olimpiu Bălanescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Spulberu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Ecobici to maneuver through the defense. Basarab Şania made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vintilă Ioneasa in the 92nd minute. If David Lupea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute.
