Dragoş Vişoianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionuț Zafiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stiubeiu SC's Petre Leahu got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narcis Mitrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Iosub having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Emil Potoroacă made a precise shot to the right of Dragoş Vişoianu. Stiubeiu SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The Pihna support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
