Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ionuț Zafiu started the match with the kick off. Sabin Iosub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Dominte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8thth minute of the game Iacob Dominte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pihna's Sabin Iosub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pihna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Rareș Petrin scored to the left of an out of position Sabin Iosub, making the score, 1-0. Emil Potoroacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cazimir Atanasiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cazimir Atanasiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Zafiu in the 14th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Iacob Dominte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. papasoglu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iacob Dominte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Ţugui during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. papasoglu's Toader Rucăreanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pihna. Ionuț Zafiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cazimir Atanasiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabin Iosub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rareș Petrin's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iacob Dominte to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of papasoglu booed when Pihna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Tudor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rareș Petrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Iosub having to interfere. After a rather tough play, papasoglu's Rareș Petrin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionuț Zafiu in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cazimir Atanasiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in papasoglu's zone, Ionuț Zafiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cazimir Atanasiu came out of the goal and Ionuț Zafiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iacob Dominte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rareș Petrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sabin Iosub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iacob Dominte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cazimir Atanasiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionuț Zafiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Potoroacă got free with Cazimir Atanasiu in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rareș Petrin came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the papasoglu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Petrin couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute Iacob Dominte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Iosub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ştefan Ţugui was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 88 played minutes Pihna got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Ţugui. Iacob Dominte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sabin Iosub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Dominte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. papasoglu were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pihna to leave the ground with a draw.
