In the 25th minute Narcis Mitrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Aluncai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narcis Mitrea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihăiţă Aluncai having to make a save. Leontin Hârțan charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leontin Hârțan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ioan Ulici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Narcis Mitrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihăiţă Aluncai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petre Leahu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Ferdinand Iordănescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Petre Leahu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mihăiţă Aluncai. The goal made the score 1-1. Petre Leahu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihăiţă Aluncai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Emanuel Tărău took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dragoş Vişoianu. Dragoş Vişoianu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Petre Leahu succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. CF XII-H 2006's Mihăiţă Aluncai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save CF XII-H 2006 from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Petre Leahu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihăiţă Aluncai. That made the score 2-3 in the 80 minute of play. Matei Macri charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matei Macri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stiubeiu SC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Matei Macri hit a great ball. Mihăiţă Aluncai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Petre Leahu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 86 minute of play. If Narcis Mitrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Petre Leahu came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Stiubeiu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petre Leahu couldn't finish the play. Narcis Mitrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Stiubeiu SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CF XII-H 2006 throughout the match.
