If Iacob Pârcălab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Potoroacă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sabin Iosub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mugur Posteucă in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Iacob Pârcălab could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Sabin Iosub however easily saved by the left post. If Emil Potoroacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petruț Georgescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Potoroacă in the 48th minute of the match.

Penes's Iacob Pârcălab got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iacob Pârcălab struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Sabin Iosub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Pihna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Potoroacă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Pihna's Emil Potoroacă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ionuț Zafiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pihna's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionuț Zafiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petruț Georgescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petruț Georgescu made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Emil Potoroacă sent off a good shot on target.
