Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ionuț Zafiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mihăiţă Aluncai made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Emil Potoroacă sent off a good shot on target. CF XII-H 2006's Ferdinand Iordănescu got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pihna's Sabin Iosub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Iordănescu in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ionuț Zafiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pihna's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionuț Zafiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihăiţă Aluncai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Tărău in the 16th minute of play forced Pihna's goalkeeper Sabin Iosub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, CF XII-H 2006's Ferdinand Iordănescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabin Iosub narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mihăiţă Aluncai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionuț Zafiu in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Pihna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Tudor to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinand Iordănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sabin Iosub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihăiţă Aluncai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Zafiu in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pihna's zone, Emanuel Tărău stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabin Iosub came out of the goal and Emanuel Tărău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinand Iordănescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pihna's zone, Emanuel Tărău stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabin Iosub came out of the goal and Emanuel Tărău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, CF XII-H 2006's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Potoroacă came free, but Mihăiţă Aluncai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristi Tudor's late challenge caught a CF XII-H 2006's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristi Tudor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CF XII-H 2006 booed when Pihna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Tudor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionuț Zafiu scored 1-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihăiţă Aluncai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ionuț Zafiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihăiţă Aluncai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ionuț Zafiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ionuț Zafiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, CF XII-H 2006's Ferdinand Iordănescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabin Iosub narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute, one of CF XII-H 2006:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CF XII-H 2006. 93 minutes into the match, Pihna's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Iordănescu came free, but Sabin Iosub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihăiţă Aluncai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Potoroacă, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Pihna were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CF XII-H 2006 for a fine match.
