An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Damian Rădescu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 6th minute, Narcis Bărbulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavian Manole was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 10 minutes of play, Hurduci's Cazimir Hârtopanu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Manole was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cazimir Hârtopanu struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Octavian Manole didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurduci. When Narcis Bărbulescu came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Hurduci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narcis Bărbulescu couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Damian Rădescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valer Ghionea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Rădescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Zmeu having to make a save. Damian Rădescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Robert Zmeu made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avram Hizo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Avram Hizo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. S.S. Lazio Craiova's Octavian Manole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cazimir Hârtopanu in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute Ioan Chibulcutean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Zmeu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ioan Chibulcutean made a kick off. With a little luck, S.S. Lazio Craiova's Octavian Manole got control of the ball when Narcis Bărbulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cazimir Hârtopanu in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavian Manole saved S.S. Lazio Craiova from getting behind. Ioan Chibulcutean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Zmeu having to interfere. With his leg Octavian Manole managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Hurduci's Narcis Bărbulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Narcis Bărbulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavian Manole read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to S.S. Lazio Craiova getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sorin Ardeleanu hit a great ball. When Narcis Bărbulescu came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Hurduci fans jumped to their feet. Ioan Boroneanț charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Octavian Manole went to the wrong direction when Gigel Rucăreanu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Narcis Bărbulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Manole. S.S. Lazio Craiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narcis Bărbulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 88th minute of the match, Narcis Bărbulescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Octavian Manole was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
