Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Marin Taşcău made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Marin Taşcău dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mugurel Ogășanu, 1-0. After 14 minutes, Horia Ciocâltea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC FCSB and the F.C. Câmpina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Ionică Pascaru sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC FCSB's Mugurel Ogășanu didn't even have to move. When F.C. Câmpina's Marin Taşcău in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC FCSB's goalie prevented a goal. When Marin Taşcău came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the F.C. Câmpina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marin Taşcău couldn't finish the play. Mugurel Ogășanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Taşcău in the 29th minute of the match. Codruț Burileanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dragoş Stanomir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristi Bădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narcis Gârdan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Marin Taşcău recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Codruț Burileanu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Codruț Burileanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. Câmpina's Dragoş Stanomir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Câmpina from getting a goal against them. Răzvan Frântu's late challenge caught a FC FCSB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Răzvan Frântu helped the player get up and apologised. If Cristi Bădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66thth minute of the game Marin Taşcău who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC FCSB's Mugurel Ogășanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 played minutes FC FCSB got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Stănciulaş. If Victor Sava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mugurel Ogășanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Taşcău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codruț Burileanu had several of the F.C. Câmpina's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Dragoş Stanomir as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 77th minute of the match Aron Agârbiceanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugurel Ogășanu skillfully saved the ball. Victor Sava recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes of play, F.C. Câmpina's Marin Taşcău made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mugurel Ogășanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cristi Bădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Cristi Bădoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, F.C. Câmpina's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Burileanu came free, but Dragoş Stanomir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. Câmpina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
