Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Nisipeanu in the 4th minute of play forced Hurduci's goalkeeper Robert Zmeu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Striharet booed when Hurduci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Inculeț didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Hurduci's Avram Hizo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Cazimir Hârtopanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Petrică read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Robert Zmeu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Micescu in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Striharet got a freekick which was hit by Felix Popic. In the 32nd minute, Francisc Micescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Zmeu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Francisc Micescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narcis Bărbulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Petrică having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Narcis Bărbulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernest Petrică was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 62 minutes into the match, Cazimir Hârtopanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernest Petrică. Striharet's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cazimir Hârtopanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 66th minute Martin Nisipeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Zmeu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Francisc Micescu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Striharet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisc Micescu couldn't finish the play. In the 69th match minute, Hurduci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Inculeț to maneuver through the defense. Martin Nisipeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Zmeu had great luck who in the 73rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Martin Nisipeanu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hurduci's Cazimir Hârtopanu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebiu Corlățean kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Many of Striharet's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Striharet may have spent more time on the ball, but Hurduci were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
