Irinel Bulcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ernest Negulici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Negulici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Todea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, CS U Boteni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Hobjilă to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 14 in the game by Stelian Lera from a close distance when the talented Tiberiu Godeanu managed to make a qualified save. CS U Boteni's players were relieved. Stelian Lera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stelian Lera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tiberiu Godeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calistrat Blăniță kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, CS U Boteni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Hobjilă to maneuver through the defense. Stelian Lera's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tiberiu Godeanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to RAREȘ FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Petruț Prunaru hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, CS U Boteni's Irinel Bulcă got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irinel Bulcă made a kick off. Emil Hobjilă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ernest Negulici made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Lera in the 62nd minute of play forced CS U Boteni's goalkeeper Tiberiu Godeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Stelian Lera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Godeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Hobjilă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. George Enache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Negulici having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, RAREȘ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Robescu to maneuver through the defense. CS U Boteni's Iosif Cristian got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Calistrat Blăniță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RAREȘ FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CS U Boteni the free kick. Calistrat Blăniță kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ernest Negulici was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Irinel Bulcă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Irinel Bulcă really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Stelian Lera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Tiberiu Godeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind CS U Boteni's goalkeeper Tiberiu Godeanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiberiu Godeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Lera in the 88th minute of the match. Emil Hobjilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Negulici having to interfere. George Enache came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ernest Negulici could save by the left post. Ernest Negulici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Bulcă in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CS U Boteni eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
