The audience was convinced that Marcel Turlea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aron Giurăscu was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Teodor Cozmâncă put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aron Giurăscu. Aron Giurăscu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.T.A.-S.U.R.. 19 minutes into the match, Teodor Cozmâncă notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of F.C. BUDENI's Aron Giurăscu. Aron Giurăscu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Lopatnicu during the 23rd minute. U.T.A.-S.U.R.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. BUDENI the free kick. After 34 played minutes U.T.A.-S.U.R. got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Mendrea. Aron Giurăscu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Cozmâncă in the 39th minute of the match. If Marcel Turlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, F.C. BUDENI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Bute to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodor Cozmâncă to strike the kick off in the second half. Ovidiu Condescu hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Valentin Văcaru's late challenge caught a U.T.A.-S.U.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Văcaru helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes F.C. BUDENI got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Văcaru. A hard shot 85 in the game by Teodor Cozmâncă from a close distance when the talented Aron Giurăscu managed to make a qualified save. F.C. BUDENI's players were relieved. Mihail Aldulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aron Giurăscu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Aldulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over U.T.A.-S.U.R. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. BUDENI throughout the match.
