But to his dismay, Lucian Mărculescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 21 minutes into the match, FC.TOY's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Şimoc came free, but Moise Dumitru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of FC.TOY:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galaţi AS:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucian Mărculescu in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Codrin Tănăsocă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Galaţi AS's Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Moise Dumitru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei in the 74th minute of play. Lucian Mărculescus short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Codrin Tănăsocă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mugur Bulzan kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Agrigoroaiei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Dumitru having to interfere. The supporters of Galaţi AS booed when FC.TOY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Chivulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Galaţi AS's Damian Buga tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, FC.TOY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Mihăescu to maneuver through the defense. Moise Dumitru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Şimoc, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Moise Dumitru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vlad Şimoc's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Galaţi AS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
