He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trampoaiele CS reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugen Bala in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doru Popoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nichifor Gheban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Nicu Jerca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Homeag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vali Seţeanu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Jugănaru in the 27th minute of play forced Somcutza UFC's goalkeeper Doru Popoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicu Jerca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Trampoaiele CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Seţeanu to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Jerca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Isac Homeag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugen Bala to make the kick off. Nichifor Gheban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Isac Homeag tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Somcutza UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicu Jerca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Homeag breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nichifor Gheban struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Isac Homeag didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Somcutza UFC. 71 minutes into the game, Somcutza UFC's Nicu Jerca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Homeag made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Eugen Bala received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Doru Popoiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Eugen Bala slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Trampoaiele CS's Grigore Oltean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doru Popoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Cătălin Popoiu's late challenge caught a Trampoaiele CS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cătălin Popoiu helped the player get up and apologised. Cătălin Popoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Eugen Bala kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Nicu Jerca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Somcutza UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicu Jerca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isac Homeag breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
