Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) BerCEnarii MD's Cornel Ferenț started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. BerCEnarii MD's Cornel Ferenț got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rareș Galușcă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nichifor Gheban in the 12th minute. Ioan Orescu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Ferenț in the 20th minute of play forced Somcutza UFC's goalkeeper Doru Popoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornel Ferenț's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doru Popoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Cornel Ferenț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nichifor Gheban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornel Ferenț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Cornel Ferenț notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Somcutza UFC's Doru Popoiu. Doru Popoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nichifor Gheban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Galușcă having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicu Jerca to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Nicu Jerca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Somcutza UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicu Jerca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gigel Gligan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Somcutza UFC's Doru Popoiu got control of the ball when Gigel Gligan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Ioan Orescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Somcutza UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BerCEnarii MD the free kick. The supporters of BerCEnarii MD booed when Somcutza UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Orescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornel Ferenț kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BerCEnarii MD's zone, Nichifor Gheban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rareș Galușcă came out of the goal and Nichifor Gheban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gigel Gligan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Gligan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cornel Ferenț managed to get in a good position for a shot. BerCEnarii MD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Ferenț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doru Popoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind BerCEnarii MD's goalkeeper Rareș Galușcă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ioan Orescu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. BerCEnarii MD's Rareș Galușcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Jerca in the 94th minute of play. Nicu Jerca struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rareș Galușcă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Somcutza UFC. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BerCEnarii MD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
