The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remus Rânceanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, one of SErioXul:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SErioXul. With a little luck, SErioXul's Cornel Grozăvescu got control of the ball when Irinel Todericiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Grozăvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Vuşcan in the 77th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxim Scripcaru during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, SErioXul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Scripcaru to maneuver through the defense. Cornel Grozăvescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gelu Vuşcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC GLORIA BUZĂU's Gelu Vuşcan got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over FC GLORIA BUZĂU could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SErioXul throughout the match.
