Fabian Prelipceanu's late challenge caught a Viitorul Constanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Prelipceanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Fabian Prelipceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horea Alexandrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Horea Alexandrescu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Romeo Panescu. Gigi Groșan made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Miclescu in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Alexandrescu in the 16th minute of play forced Viitorul Constanta's goalkeeper Romeo Panescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Viitorul Constanta's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Lupoaia came free, but Romeo Panescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Săndoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute Silviu Săndoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Groșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes, Viitorul Constanta's Aurelian Roşca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gigi Groșan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viitorul Constanta reached it. Doru Lupoaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 42 minutes of play, Supanu AC's Horea Alexandrescu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Panescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, Viitorul Constanta's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Lupoaia came free, but Romeo Panescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Miclescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horea Alexandrescu was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Supanu AC's Doru Lupoaia made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Panescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the match, David Miclescu notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Supanu AC's Gigi Groșan. Gigi Groșan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute of the match Aurelian Roşca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gigi Groșan skillfully saved the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Silviu Săndoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigi Groșan. Supanu AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silviu Săndoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Silviu Săndoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gigi Groșan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doru Lupoaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute of the match, Horea Alexandrescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romeo Panescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Romeo Panescu managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Supanu AC's Doru Lupoaia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Silviu Săndoi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Gigi Groșan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viitorul Constanta. In the 92nd minute Silviu Săndoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Groșan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viitorul Constanta were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Supanu AC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurelian Ghișerel took the corner. The corner ended in Aurelian Ghișerel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Supanu AC's Gigi Groșan did a great save. After some careless play in the Supanu AC defense, David Miclescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gigi Groșan. The Supanu AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigi Groșan should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Supanu AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
