Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manuel Chircu got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Chircu in the 5th minute of play forced Monosfalva's goalkeeper Robert Dorlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavril Irimia made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Logofeteanu in the 8th minute. Augustin Halipa charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augustin Halipa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fc Steaua getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Augustin Halipa hit a great ball. Robert Dorlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Cipău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monosfalva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Chircu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. George Logofeteanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavril Irimia having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Monosfalva's Augustin Curăreanu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Gavril Irimia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Elefterescu in the 75th minute of the match. Robert Dorlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Chircu in the 80th minute of play. If Stelian Pașcalău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
