Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Viitorul Constanta's Silviu Săndoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aurelian Ghișerel kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Viitorul Constanta's Romeo Panescu got control of the ball when Dinu Stanciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match, Narcis Lupoi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romeo Panescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tudor Aanicăi hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Doru Vornicescu charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doru Vornicescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pietroasele CF's Eliodor Firoiu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Romeo Panescu but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Viitorul Constanta's zone, Dinu Stanciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Panescu came out of the goal and Dinu Stanciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Silviu Săndoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pietroasele CF's Valer Țâpu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Săndoi in the 40th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Silviu Săndoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valer Țâpu. Pietroasele CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silviu Săndoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The wind increased when Narcis Lupoi made the kick off in the second half. Pietroasele CF's Narcis Lupoi got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Dinu Stanciu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Romeo Panescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Viitorul Constanta's Doru Vornicescu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silviu Săndoi's late challenge caught a Pietroasele CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silviu Săndoi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Silviu Săndoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Pietroasele CF's Valer Țâpu got control of the ball when David Miclescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Bâru charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Bâru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Bâru kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Aurelian Ghișerel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Silviu Săndoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Narcis Lupoi notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Viitorul Constanta's Romeo Panescu. Romeo Panescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Dinu Stanciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Viitorul Constanta booed when Pietroasele CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Vâlcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silviu Săndoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
