Valer Țâpu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pietroasele CF's Valer Țâpu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Pietroasele CF from getting a goal against them. Viorel Şumălan kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes in the game, Tiberiu Ghiță fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valer Țâpu having to interfere. A collision led to Shadows Team getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cezar Bălace hit a great ball. Pietroasele CF's Lucrețiu Vâlcu got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinu Stanciu in the 28th minute of play forced Shadows Team's goalkeeper Alexandru Bologa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Dinu Stanciu made a precise shot to the right of Alexandru Bologa. Shadows Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Aristide Blăjan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Țâpu having to interfere. Aristide Blăjan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Valer Țâpu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valer Țâpu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Tatulici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiberiu Ghiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Țâpu having to interfere. Cezar Bălace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Aristide Blăjan made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Stanciu got free with Alexandru Bologa in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valer Țâpu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Ghiță in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Aristide Blăjan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narcis Lupoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandru Bologa having to interfere. Alexandru Bologa was a little too slow when Narcis Lupoi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-2. Valer Țâpu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristide Blăjan went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shadows Team had won after a very even match.
