After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gigel Pantiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosenau's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigel Pantiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugen Crișan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ştefan Tomozei kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th play minute Irinel Todericiu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alin Turcu. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Irinel Todericiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Rosenau getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ştefan Tomozei hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, FC GLORIA BUZĂU's Doru Pupăzan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alin Turcu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 21stth minute of the game Gigel Pantiș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC GLORIA BUZĂU's Eugen Crișan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute Gelu Vuşcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Turcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Crișan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Iureș, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Gelu Vuşcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Turcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Crișan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Stătescu in the 34th minute of the match. Nistor Stătescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Eugen Crișan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugen Crișan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gigel Pantiș's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Gigel Pantiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosenau's Nistor Stătescu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nistor Stătescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Eugen Crișan made a huge save. Mihăiţă Măndica hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Nistor Stătescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eugen Crișan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Nistor Stătescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eugen Crișan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valeriu Bărbat hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Nistor Stătescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Crișan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC GLORIA BUZĂU's zone, Nistor Stătescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Crișan came out of the goal and Nistor Stătescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nistor Stătescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Eugen Crișan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, FC GLORIA BUZĂU's goalkeeper Eugen Crișan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nistor Stătescu. Eugen Crișan was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Gigel Pantiș capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gigel Pantiș really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. The FC GLORIA BUZĂU fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rosenau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
