In the 9th match minute, Pocruia AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Tutuianu to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Enceanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dorin Măguran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Di Stefano in the 55th minute of the match. If Alfredo Di Stefano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Di Stefano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valea Calugareasca F.C.'s Iulian Cosor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Valea Calugareasca F.C. from getting a goal against them. Leontin Cămărășan struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Dorin Măguran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When the match was over Pocruia AS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valea Calugareasca F.C. throughout the match.
