Iulian Cosor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Berca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Constantin Filip got free with Iulian Cosor in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the game, Paul Berca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iulian Cosor. Paul Berca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Iulian Cosor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Berca in the 22nd minute of play. Iulian Cosor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Berca went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Valea Calugareasca F.C.'s Iulian Cosor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Valea Calugareasca F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Berca in the 32nd minute of play forced Valea Calugareasca F.C.'s goalkeeper Iulian Cosor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Maghear dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Valea Calugareasca F.C.'s Iulian Cosor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Berca in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantin Filip in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iulian Cosor saved Valea Calugareasca F.C. from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Valea Calugareasca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paul Berca came free, but Iulian Cosor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olimpiu Maghear was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Irinel Stănciulaş showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 59 minute of play. Alfredo Di Stefano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Maghear having to interfere. Iulian Cosor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Filip, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Alfredo Di Stefano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Olimpiu Maghear tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pompiliu Jupâneanu during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Yassi getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Pompiliu Jupâneanu hit a great ball. Iulian Cosor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Filip in the 81st minute of play. Valea Calugareasca F.C.'s Iulian Cosor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Berca in the 84th minute of play. In the 100th minute of the match Pompiliu Jupâneanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iulian Cosor skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yassi had won after a very even match.
