The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Denis Bejgăneanu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Eqlibrum F.C.. Dorin Stoleru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alex Cobâlcescu. 2-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Ivan Pârâianu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eqlibrum F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Pârâianu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pink Angels getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Denis Bejgăneanu hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Sever Paulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Gâțea, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Eqlibrum F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Mugurel Gâțea scored to the left of an out of position Sever Paulescu, making the score, 2-1. In the 62nd minute of the match, Doru Ficsinescu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sever Paulescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sever Paulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugurel Gâțea's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Doru Ficsinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Cobâlcescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nae Buzoianu's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Eqlibrum F.C.'s Ivan Pârâianu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Cobâlcescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The audience was convinced that Nae Buzoianu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Cobâlcescu was relentless in the 91st minute of the game.
