Sever Paulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Linistea's Emanuel Cândea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Pârâianu in the 14th minute of play. Costel Bodea kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Eqlibrum F.C.'s Nae Buzoianu got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes FC Linistea got a freekick which was hit by Claudiu Zberea. Călin Cociubei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Paulescu having to interfere. Augustin Cordescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Sever Paulescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Eqlibrum F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Pană to maneuver through the defense. Sever Paulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Cociubei, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eqlibrum F.C.'s goalkeeper Sever Paulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Emanuel Cândea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Pârâianu in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes, Constantin Niță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Linistea and the Eqlibrum F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Constantin Niță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Cordescu struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sever Paulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Linistea. A collision led to Eqlibrum F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Pompiliu Moise hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Albert Otopeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Călin Cociubei didn't quite understand what happened when in the 83 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 89 minutes into the game, Ivan Pârâianu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Emanuel Cândea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
