In the 5th minute, Pompiliu Moise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costică Şunda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sever Paulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulm's attack was well implemented in the 11th minute, but when Iurie Cristian was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 15 minutes into the game, Alex Gherasim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ulm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eqlibrum F.C. the free kick. After 15 played minutes Ulm got a freekick which was hit by Alex Gherasim. Pompiliu Moise hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Sever Paulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Şunda in the 25th minute of play. Sever Paulescu was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Costică Şunda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Costică Şunda really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Costică Şunda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sever Paulescu. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. Eqlibrum F.C.'s Sever Paulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Eqlibrum F.C. from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulm's Iurie Cristian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sever Paulescu. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Sever Paulescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Iurie Cristian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sever Paulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Costică Şunda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sever Paulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iurie Cristian went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Costică Şunda to strike the kick off in the second half. Iurie Cristian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Eqlibrum F.C. defense, Costică Şunda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sever Paulescu. The Eqlibrum F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sever Paulescu should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Ivan Pârâianu made a precise shot to the right of Codrin Magherescu. Ulm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After a rather tough play, Ulm's Iustin Agârbiceanu got a free kick in the 67th minute. Sever Paulescu came out of the goal and Costică Şunda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costică Şunda in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sever Paulescu saved Eqlibrum F.C. from getting behind. Ulm walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
