Emanuel Cândea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Mihălțan in the 19th minute of play forced FC Linistea's goalkeeper Emanuel Cândea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silviu Minulescu got free with Emanuel Cândea in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Buzoianu's Sorin Novacovici slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Cândea. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. Emanuel Cândea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Prislop in the 87th minute of the match.
