Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Moise Isăilă made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind StrongMan Run's goalkeeper Manuel Mangra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in StrongMan Run's zone, Costin Goicea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Mangra came out of the goal and Costin Goicea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costin Goicea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Mangra having to make a save. When Costin Goicea came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FC Steaua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costin Goicea couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes StrongMan Run got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Panaitoiu. StrongMan Run's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Costin Goicea scored to the left of an out of position Manuel Mangra, making the score, 1-0. Alex Curtean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Manuel Mangra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Steaua getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alex Curtean hit a great ball. In the 29th match minute, FC Steaua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Jurca to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgil Nebunu got free with Manuel Mangra in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgil Nebunu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Mangra having to interfere. Manuel Mangra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgil Nebunu in the 39th minute. Rareș Dumitru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cătălin Chiper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgil Nebunu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costin Goicea to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, FC Steaua's Virgil Nebunu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Mangra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 57th minute Costin Goicea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Mangra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. StrongMan Run's Manuel Mangra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Goicea in the 62nd minute of play. StrongMan Run's Moise Isăilă got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua's Iurie Jurca got a free kick in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, StrongMan Run's Cristinel Panaitoiu got a free kick in the 67th minute.
