Spectators: 7624 (Terracing: 5719, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudiu Urdăreanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Claudiu Urdăreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Avram Elian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Speranta Victoria's Teodor Dinulescu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Zorlincior's Claudiu Urdăreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Speranta Victoria's Avram Elian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Urdăreanu in the 9th minute of play. Ilie Burghelea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Elian having to interfere. If Ilie Burghelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Vancea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Avram Elian made a huge save. If Claudiu Urdăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Mihăiţă Dragalina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mass Panico came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Speranta Victoria's Ernest Udup. But to his dismay, Ernest Udup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Claudiu Urdăreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Speranta Victoria's goalkeeper Avram Elian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihăiţă Dragalina. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Ilie Burghelea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorlincior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Burghelea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Speranta Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Urdăreanu came free, but Avram Elian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ilie Burghelea sped through Speranta Victoria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Avram Elian. 58 minutes into the game, Irinel Vancea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zorlincior's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Speranta Victoria the free kick. Irinel Vancea hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Irinel Vancea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zorlincior's supporters rose to their feet, but Irinel Vancea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avram Elian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Claudiu Urdăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Petru Mihuț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Elian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Irinel Vancea was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. The supporters of Speranta Victoria booed when Zorlincior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Vancea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilie Burghelea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Elian having to interfere. When Claudiu Urdăreanu came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Zorlincior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Urdăreanu couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Urdăreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Avram Elian was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Avram Elian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Urdăreanu in the 78th minute of play. When Claudiu Urdăreanu came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Zorlincior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Urdăreanu couldn't finish the play.
