Manuel Mangra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Isvoreanu in the 7th minute of the match. ACSMU Poli's Romeo Rucăreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Chiper in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to StrongMan Run getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cătălin Chiper hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Cristinel Panaitoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. StrongMan Run's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ACSMU Poli the free kick. The supporters of ACSMU Poli booed when StrongMan Run was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 41st minute, Bogdan Oncu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bogdan Oncu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Mangra having to interfere. Bogdan Oncu might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Mangra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogdan Oncu ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moise Isăilă to strike the kick off in the second half. Cătălin Chiper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Oncu in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Mangra saved StrongMan Run from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, StrongMan Run was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Panaitoiu to maneuver through the defense. Manole Uzuneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Rucăreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Isăilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
