Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Fabian Obreja came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Silisteni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Obreja couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Silisteni's Fabian Obreja dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Fabian Obreja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Zegreanu having to interfere. Manole Braniște stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Lițiu's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Ionică Diculescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iosif Zegreanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Obreja showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 17 minute of play. Romania's Iosif Zegreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Romania from getting a goal against them. When Silisteni's Ovidiu Romanescu in 25 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Iosif Zegreanu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Iosif Zegreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Oblemenco in the 29th minute of the match. When Leonard Lițiu fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romania's protests and gave Leonard Lițiu a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Romania got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Lițiu. After having played for 32 minutes, Fabian Obreja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silisteni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Obreja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romania's goalkeeper Iosif Zegreanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manole Braniște showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Lițiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Silisteni's Fabian Obreja ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iosif Zegreanu. Iosif Zegreanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Ovidiu Romanescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Iosif Zegreanu made a huge save. Fabian Obreja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Iosif Zegreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidiu Romanescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Romanescu came free, but Iosif Zegreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silisteni were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Romania's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurelian Dobre took the corner. After taking down the ball on Silisteni's corner Fabian Obreja fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iosif Zegreanu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 64th minute Ovidiu Romanescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Zegreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Fabian Obreja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7-0 became the score in the 67th minute when Fabian Obreja elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Romania's Iosif Zegreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Romanescu in the 72nd minute of play. Silisteni's Fabian Obreja got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Ovidiu Romanescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iosif Zegreanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 81 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Oblemenco came free, but Iosif Zegreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Silisteni's Ovidiu Romanescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iosif Zegreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. If Ivan Buciuman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Romania defense, Ovidiu Romanescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iosif Zegreanu. The Romania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iosif Zegreanu should have stopped the shot. Silisteni walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
