Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florin Bunoaică started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Parauseni SC's zone, Marius Bociort stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Căplescu came out of the goal and Marius Bociort tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Costandache in the 5th minute of play forced Parauseni SC's goalkeeper Aristide Căplescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Babarada came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Parauseni SC's Dinu Spirache. But to his dismay, Dinu Spirache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florin Bunoaică in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Babarada saved Borussia Buzău from getting behind. Aristide Căplescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Bociort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Mihail Luca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Parauseni SC's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Bociort came free, but Aristide Căplescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Bunoaică hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cristi Vâtcu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Borussia Buzău's goalkeeper Fabian Babarada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinu Spirache. Ştefan Costandache took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristide Căplescu. Aristide Căplescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ştefan Costandache made a kick off. Marius Bociort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Ştefan Costandache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 54 played minutes Parauseni SC got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Luca. With a little luck, Parauseni SC's Aristide Căplescu got control of the ball when Marius Bociort tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Sava hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Borussia Buzău defense, Florin Bunoaică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Babarada. The Borussia Buzău fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Babarada should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute of the match Filip Macovescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Babarada showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ştefan Costandache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aristide Căplescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Bociort got free with Aristide Căplescu in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Aristide Căplescu managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Borussia Buzău's Marius Bociort fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marius Bociort's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aristide Căplescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Marius Bociort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Căplescu having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
