Gheorghe Hăvârneanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gheorghe Hăvârneanu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Max team FC's Niculae Diaconu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Nicolae Gârneață fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Hăvârneanu having to interfere. Damian Zamfira charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Zamfira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Damian Zamfira hit a great ball. If Niculae Diaconu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Hăvârneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Gârneață in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Nicolae Gârneață notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN's Gheorghe Hăvârneanu. Gheorghe Hăvârneanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicolae Gârneață recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Gheorghe Hăvârneanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Max team FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolae Gârneață to make the kick off. After 71 minutes, Basarab Chiriacescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Max team FC and the F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Max team FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Basarab Chiriacescu hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Adrian Onofrei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Reznic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Max team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Onofrei came free, but Flavius Reznic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C.AVANTUL REGHIN's Gheorghe Hăvârneanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Gârneață in the 83rd minute of play. Adrian Onofrei succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. Gheorghe Hăvârneanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolae Gârneață's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Onofrei in the 94th minute of play forced Max team FC's goalkeeper Flavius Reznic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Max team FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Max team FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
