The Dacia Chișinău fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Borăscu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 63 minutes, Bogdan Uncheşelu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dacia Chișinău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Uncheşelu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Francisc Mavrogheni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dacia Chișinău's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisc Mavrogheni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
