The supporters of Max team FC booed when Borussia Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Smarandache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dumitru Pârlog, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ştefan Costandache in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavius Reznic saved Max team FC from getting behind. 13 minutes into the match, Max team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Costandache came free, but Flavius Reznic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Babarada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Gârneață in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Max team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Bociort came free, but Flavius Reznic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Gheorghe Mateescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavius Reznic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borussia Buzău's Iustinian Smarandache got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Max team FC! After the first half Borussia Buzău were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fabian Babarada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Gârneață, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Niculae Diaconu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Bociort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavius Reznic having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Max team FC got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Chiriacescu. Marius Bociort in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavius Reznic, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th minute, Marius Bociort fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Flavius Reznic, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Max team FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mihai Tulbure hit a great ball. Borussia Buzău's Gabriel Zub couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Max team FC. In the 74th match minute, Max team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihai Tulbure to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 75 in the game by Marius Bociort from a close distance when the talented Flavius Reznic managed to make a qualified save. Max team FC's players were relieved. In the 77th minute of the match, Ştefan Costandache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavius Reznic saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marius Bociort struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Flavius Reznic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Buzău. 85 minutes into the match, Max team FC's goalkeeper Flavius Reznic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marius Bociort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ştefan Costandache in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavius Reznic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Mărăscu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Max team FC's Flavius Reznic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Max team FC from getting a goal against them. Borussia Buzău's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
