An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Iliescu in the 24th minute of play forced F.C Voinicelul's goalkeeper Romeo Abutnăriței to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florin Mercescu made a kick off. Florin Mercescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorel Cosariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Huștea having to interfere. A collision led to Masterand Team getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. David Crușeveanu hit a great ball. When F.C Voinicelul's Florin Mercescu in 77 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C Voinicelul walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
