In the 11th minute of the match Horea Horațiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horia Vătavu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Panait Bobeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horia Vătavu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Mîțu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Panait Bobeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Rucăreanu having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Pavel Mîțu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Vătavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Panait Rebengiuc sped through Centru Juniori's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Horia Vătavu. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Pavel Mîțu made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, balaur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Bobeanu came free, but Robert Rucăreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Teodor Teofil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Mîțu in the 58th minute of play forced Centru Juniori's goalkeeper Horia Vătavu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
