In the 3rdth minute of the game Florin Mercescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Centru Juniori's Horia Vătavu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 4th minute Florin Mercescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Vătavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Corocăescu scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeo Abutnăriței, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Podgoreanu during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isac Podgoreanu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Panait Bobeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Abutnăriței having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, one of Centru Juniori:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Florin Mercescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorel Cosariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Vătavu having to interfere. Florin Mercescu took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horia Vătavu. Horia Vătavu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Corocăescu was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of F.C Voinicelul booed when Centru Juniori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Chindriș didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Florin Mercescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C Voinicelul's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Mercescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horia Vătavu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Corocăescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dorel Cosariu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horia Vătavu having to make a save. Emanuel Corocăescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horia Vătavu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Mercescu in the 75th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Florin Mercescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horia Vătavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorel Cosariu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Vătavu having to interfere. With a little luck, Centru Juniori's Horia Vătavu got control of the ball when Dorel Cosariu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horia Vătavu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florin Mercescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 86 minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, F.C Voinicelul's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Corocăescu came free, but Romeo Abutnăriței reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C Voinicelul walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
