Moise Ţirpescu's late challenge caught a Teodoresti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moise Ţirpescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, one of FC Știința:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Știința. Dorin Cezariu went to the wrong direction when Sever Ciorăscu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduard Banciu to strike the kick off in the second half. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Știința had played much better football throughout.
