Spectators: 6110 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 10) Nechifor Aplugăriței started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gigi Blaj who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Iordache Melinescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute Andrei Murărașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Mardare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Nechifor Aplugăriței fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ciprian Mardare came out of the goal and Silviu Creteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iordache Melinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nechifor Aplugăriței in the 92nd minute of the match. Nechifor Vulcan hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
