After a defensive mix-up in F.C Dudestii Noi's zone, Aristide Nicolaescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iacob Teodorescu came out of the goal and Aristide Nicolaescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Andrei Săndoi came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the F.C Dudestii Noi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Săndoi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ploscuteni getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cătălin Horia hit a great ball. Iacob Teodorescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Buta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gică Alucai kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. F.C Dudestii Noi's Iacob Teodorescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save F.C Dudestii Noi from getting a goal against them. Andrei Săndoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ploscuteni's zone, Virgil Frumuzache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ion Savin came out of the goal and Virgil Frumuzache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 played minutes Ploscuteni got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Şuteu. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Andrei Săndoi made the kick off in the second half. F.C Dudestii Noi's Iacob Teodorescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Nicolaescu in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Săndoi in the 59th minute of play forced Ploscuteni's goalkeeper Ion Savin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ploscuteni's Ion Savin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Săndoi in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Virgil Frumuzache cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ploscuteni's Aristide Nicolaescu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing F.C Dudestii Noi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
